What is S’Utah Youth?
S’Utah Youth offers leadership-based camps designed to help kids grow in confidence, independence, and real-life skills through fun, connection, and meaningful experiences.
 
What ages is the camp for?
Our camps are designed for youth ages 7–12, with activities adapted for different ages and ability levels.
 
What makes this camp different?
We are intentionally leadership-focused.
This isn’t just about keeping kids busy, every activity is designed to help them:

  • Build confidence

  • Strengthen social skills

  • Develop independence

  • Learn to lead and contribute

  • Have fun!

Kids leave with growth you can actually see.
 
Where is camp located?
Camp is based in Town Square in downtown St. George, with daily outings to nearby parks, museums, splash pads, pools, and other local experiences.
 
What are the camp hours?
Camp runs Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
 
What does a typical day look like?
Each day includes:

  • Team building and connection activities

  • Creative workshops (arts, movement, leadership games)

  • Lunch and free play in the park

  • Afternoon outings and adventures

 
What should my child bring?
Please send your child with:

  • Water bottle

  • Lunch and snacks

  • Comfortable clothes

  • Swimsuit/Shorts/Sun shirt and towel (on water days)

  • Sunscreen

 
Is lunch provided?
No; campers should bring a packed lunch and snacks each day. We do provide frozen treats, additional snacks as well.
 
Is transportation provided?
Yes. We safely walk or transport campers to local, pre-planned destinations as part of the daily experience via:

-Occasional weekly guided city bus ride with our camp leaders from the library to the St George city pool (about a 5 min/1 mile bus ride) from the library.
-Regional bus to Zion for a day of exploration on the paved walk, riverside park etc on special day trips.
-Charter busses & Vans on special day trips.
-Camp Vans to area locations on special day trips.
 
Is this camp safe?
Yes. Safety is a top priority.
We provide:

  • Experienced adult leadership & 1st aid/Red Cross certified leaders

  • Structured supervision

  • Clear check-in and pick-up procedures

  • Intentional group management
     

 
Who are the leaders?
Our camp leaders, Abbey Pearson and Heather Victoria are experienced educators, mentors, and program leaders who specialize in youth development, leadership, and creating positive, engaging environments.

What if my child is shy or nervous?
That’s completely normal and actually one of the biggest reasons families choose this camp.
We create a supportive environment where kids:

  • Feel included quickly

  • Build friendships naturally

  • Gain confidence at their own pace

 
Can my child attend just one day?
Camp is designed as a full-week experience to build connection and consistency. Reach out if you have a unique situation, we’re happy to talk through options.
 
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations and refunds are not offered. However, registrations may be transferred to a different week or gifted to another participant for no fee. If you have questions, please reach out, we’re happy to help.
